Councillor Laura Devlin

Laura Devlin has been a Councillor since 2013. She has been a member of SDLP since 1999 and has worked for the party on a full-time basis for over 20 years.

Laura is the party’s Spokesperson on Tourism and Hospitality. She served as Mayor of Newry, Mourne and Down District Council in the first year of the Covid 19 Pandemic.

Laura also works for Colin Mc Grath MLA in South Down as his Constituency Manager and is a Non-Executive Member on the Board of the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service. She was appointed to the Board of Warrenpoint Harbour Authority in June 2024.
