Warrenpoint Harbour Authority is pleased to welcome Professor Austin Smyth as its newest Board Member, further strengthening the organisation’s leadership and strategic expertise.

Professor Smyth is a highly respected academic and industry leader, bringing extensive experience in governance, strategic development, and economic growth initiatives. Over the course of his distinguished career, he has played a key role in advancing regional development and innovation through both higher education and advisory positions.

Since commencing his role in September 2025, Professor Smyth has contributed valuable insight to the Board, supporting Warrenpoint Harbour Authority’s continued expansion, sustainability ambitions, and long-term strategic vision.
