Port Masterplan

2018-2043

Ports are required to plan ahead for the long term, which in this case is circa 30 years, such is the nature of the very strategic infrastructure upon which we rely.

The most recent Masterplan launched in 2018, is designed to inform our partners in Government, Newry, Mourne & Down District Council, customers, local community and stakeholders of the projected future strategic direction of the Port. This is to ensure the Port has the ability to continue to be an important economic driver in the region.
In 2023 a progress update on the Masterplan -five years’ on, will be made available.
