The Authority is currently seeking to recruit an Electrical Apprentice to join our growing team.
As an Electrical Apprentice, you will get the support and mentoring that you need to build your career, develop your skills and flourish in your role. You will have time out to study for a nationally recognised electrical qualification.
What does the role involve? You will work alongside our qualified electricians in the wide range of electrical works carried out at the Port. On some days you could be working on planned maintenance and on others you might be dealing with more urgent requests.
To be eligible to apply for the position, you will need a minimum of GCSE Grade C Maths and English (or equivalent) or show that you are working towards this.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate good communication and team working skills, the importance of good customer service and the ability to manage their time and prioritise workload.
