Warrenpoint Port is a proud supporter of providing apprenticeships in different areas of the business. Today we would like to introduce our youngest apprentice Cavan xxx, who is an electrical apprentice at the Port.
Cavan is 16 and started his apprenticeship with the Port in September 2021. He goes to Southern Regional College one day per week and works at the Port, four days. Cavan is a great team player. He is keen to learn ‘on the job’ and enjoys that every day is different. Outside of his work Cavan plays basketball for Newry Basketball Club and football for Glenn GAC. Cavan is doing a great job and we are all very proud of how much he has progressed already.
