Warrenpoint Port has a close working relationship with the boat owners who utilise Warrenpoint Port Town Dock. For the first time the boat owners used Port hard standing facilities when they lifted their boats out of the water in July for general maintenance. This service incurred a small fee to Warrenpoint Port which the Port donated along with donations from tide tables to Kilkeel RNLI. A cheque for a total of £600 was handed over to volunteers from the RNLI this week towards their work in keeping Carlingford Lough and other local waters safe.
