The WHA Community Fund provides an opportunity for non-profit organisations in Warrenpoint delivering vital services and supports to apply for much-needed funding through an open grant round. This fund is made possible by donations from port tenants / stakeholders and then further bolstered by WHA.

MS Oxygen Therapy Centre Newry and Mourne
The Newry and Mourne MS Community Therapy Centre Ltd. is one of three centres in Northern Ireland, each with their own autonomy, but with the same aims and objectives, which is to provide Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy to those suffering from Multiple Sclerosis and other medical conditions for which HBO Therapy would be beneficial.
Anam Cara Community Counselling
The organisation provides counselling/psychotherapy support on a one to one basis for young people age 16 to adults.
Extern NI
Extern NI delivers it purpose through a range of service delivery models. These include: – Residential accommodation including their approved accommodation for those with an offending past, a homeless hostel and three residential activity centres.
NOW Group Newry Mourne & Down
NOW Group Newry, Mourne and Down support people with learning difficulties, autism & neuro diverse conditions into jobs with a future.
Autism Support Kilkeel
Autism Support Kilkeel provides support and life enhancing services for people living with or suspected of having an autism spectrum disorder (ASD and their families/carers in the Newry Mourne and Down Area).
Arbour House
Arbour House provides weekend and summer respite to adults with a learning disability in Warrenpoint, Co. Down.
Warrenpoint Friendship Club
The Friendship Club, Warrenpoint was formed in 1980 and in 1989 the late Anna O’Hagan and late Bridie Rooney took over the management of the club. Members meet weekly and organise social events and get togethers. It is opened to all denominations and a friendly welcome to new faces is guaranteed.
Wee Binnian Walkers
Wee Binnian Walkers, based close to the north-eastern border area around Newry, Co. Down and Dundalk, Co Louth was founded in 1987 by Veronica McCann. Veronica, a lifestyle tutor with the “Change of Heart” coronary prevention programme, began with eleven women but with an ever-increasing membership the time came, in 1994, to formalise things and so began the club we now know today. Veronica remains an active hill walker and the club’s honorary president.
Warrenpoint Women’s Group
Warrenpoint Women’s Group was set up in April 2022, following the pandemic to address isolation and loneliness and encourage people to come back out into the community. It offers friendship and support for women of all ages in Warrenpoint and the surrounding areas. Activities include coffee mornings, health focussed events, and day trips.
Parents and Friends Of Rathore Primary School
Parents and Friends of Rathore Primary School is an association which helps create a clear pathway between the school and parents. To help raise the profile of the school and raise funds to provide the children with the best facilities possible.
