A graduate in Business Administration and Computer Science from Queen’s University Belfast, Kieran continued his studies in University of Ulster, Jordanstown where he obtained Post-Graduate Diplomas in Accountancy and Advanced Accountancy.

Kieran qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant within 2 years of joining Norbrook Laboratories where he spent a total of 10 years working in various roles within the Group Finance department. Kieran joined the Harbour Authority in 2003 as Financial Controller and was appointed to the Board in October 2007. Kieran has completed the Chartered Institute of Directors certificate and diploma examinations. He is also a Director of Newry Chamber of Commerce & Trade.
