Warrenpoint Harbour Authority Community Forum – Person Specification

Essential Criteria

1. A specific connection with Warrenpoint, whether as resident, through employment or
   business.
2. The time and commitment to participate in a minimum of three meetings a year to
   progress the Forum’s activities.
3. The ability to work collaboratively with other members of the Forum for the good of
   Warrenpoint and the Warrenpoint Port.

One or some of the following desirable criteria would be beneficial.

Desirable Criteria

1. Knowledge of opportunities and challenges in building a more prosperous and
   sustainable community within Warrenpoint.
2. Experience of delivering projects in partnership with other people or organisations in
   Warrenpoint.
3. Experience of working on projects which have delivered benefits to Warrenpoint and
   its residents.
4. Ability to link the Forum’s work with the local community and networks in
   Warrenpoint and the wider South Down and Carlingford Lough region.
5. Experience of leadership roles which have delivered significant benefits in any of the
   below areas:
   a. Environment and Sustainability
   b. Community
   c. Education & Skills Development
   d. Jobs & Economic Contribution.
6. Experience of working in another public body or not for profit organisation including
   registered voluntary and or local community/ interest groups.
